Instruct UI August 2025 Updates: Custom Instructions, MudBlazor Enhancements, and More

We've been busy this August making Instruct UI even better for ASP.NET Core Blazor developers. Here's what's new in your favorite AI-powered UI builder.
New Features
Account-Level Custom Instructions
You can now set custom instructions at the account level that will guide the AI across all your chats. This means you can define your coding preferences, naming conventions, or specific requirements once, and Instruct UI will remember them for every UI you generate. No more repeating the same instructions for each new component.
Enhanced MudBlazor Support
We've expanded MudBlazor integration to work seamlessly with both Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS. Whether you prefer Bootstrap's utility classes or Tailwind's approach, you can now use MudBlazor components with either styling framework right out of the box.
Stability Improvements
Better MudBlazor Code Generation
We've fine-tuned our prompts to generate cleaner, more accurate MudBlazor code. You'll notice fewer syntax errors and better component usage patterns in the generated output.
Improved Error Handling
All timeout and rate-limit errors now trigger automatic retries with fallback models. This means fewer interruptions when you're in the flow of building your UI. We've also secured higher rate-limit tiers with our AI providers to reduce these issues altogether.
Performance Boost
The web app now runs smoother thanks to optimizations that prevent unnecessary component and page re-rendering. You'll experience faster load times and more responsive interactions.
What's Coming Next
Figma Import (In Progress)
We're actively developing the ability to import designs directly from Figma. Soon you'll be able to take your Figma mockups and convert them into working Blazor components with just a few clicks.
Syncfusion Blazor Support
Great news for Syncfusion users! We've received approval from the Syncfusion Partnership team and have started implementation. This will give you access to Syncfusion's rich component library through Instruct UI's natural language interface.
Telerik Support (Planned)
We're reaching out to the Telerik team for partnership approval. If you're a Telerik user, this integration will expand your options even further.
These updates reflect our commitment to making UI development faster and more intuitive for Blazor developers. Whether you're prototyping a quick proof of concept or building production-ready interfaces, Instruct UI continues to evolve with your needs.
